FUTURE

When envisioning my future, I find myself drawn to pursuits that resonate deeply with my passions. Education holds a special place in my heart; Sydney J. Harris’s words, “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows,” encapsulate my belief in its transformative power. Simultaneously, my Love for art fuels my conviction in its ability to evoke changes. I want to use art to help more people because I believe it has the power to make a real difference.

Yet, amidst these aspirations, my concerns revolve around equity in education and the imperative to ensure inclusive learning environments for all children. This commitment drives my determination to contribute to a better educational environment, one that embraces and supports the diverse needs of every learner.

After careful consideration, I have chosen to embark on my journey through Art Therapy. While some might consider this decision late compared to those who initiated their psychology journey during their undergraduate freshman years, I firmly believe that the timing is irrelevant when pursuing one’s passion. The satisfaction of knowing what I want and actively working towards it surpasses any concerns about timing.

I am resolute in my decision to combine my love for education, belief in the transformative power of art, and dedication to fostering equitable learning environments. This path might have begun later than some, but I am confident that it is never too late to embrace one’s true calling and make a meaningful difference in the world.
